The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet novel Chapter 1656

Hertha didn't pursue any further. Instead, she bolted in the opposite direction, her hands bound behind her back and her mouth sealed with tape, utterly incapable of coming to Thalassa's rescue. If she tried to approach, she'd undoubtedly get caught by the brute again, leaving Thalassa in peril and herself in a bind.

Desperate, Hertha dashed into the middle of the road, hoping to catch the attention of any passerby. But in this secluded area, not a soul was in sight. Frantic, Hertha had no choice but to run even farther, in search of someone, anyone.

Meanwhile, the brute had pushed Thalassa into a motel, where a woman, an accomplice, had already prepared a room for them. Thalassa was flung into the room with such force that she landed directly on the bed. The alcohol-induced haze in her brain cleared instantly from the shock of the fall, replaced by immense fear.

Thalassa immediately tried to get up, planning to escape. But after stumbling just a few steps, the brute shoved her back onto the bed. Wiping the corner of his mouth, his greasy, menacing eyes filled with lust as he advanced towards her.

In a coarse, raspy voice, he taunted, "Little lady, you slipped away last time, and that guy really ticked me off. The mental scars I got? You're going to make up for all of them..."

With that, he lunged at Thalassa, pinning her down, eagerly trying to kiss her face. Thalassa was hit with a disgusting scent, reminiscent of spoiled bacon, making her gag. Terror and fear overwhelmed her. She twisted her face away, trying to evade his greasy lips while a cry for help barely escaped her throat, sounding more like a weak whimper.
