The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet novel Chapter 1651

He always spoke with a hint of a smile, his words slow and deliberate, exuding a kind of genteel politeness that made it difficult for anyone to take offense. It felt like if you were too harsh with him, you'd only be in the wrong.

"Mr. Gordon came to talk business with Thalassa, but why didn't he call her first? She's gone off the radar, and we can't find her anywhere," Hertha said, worry lining her voice.

"What? Thalassa is missing?" Callum's usual smile faded into a look of concern and apprehension. He quickly pulled out his smartphone and dialed Thalassa’s number. The phone rang, breaking the tense silence.

Inside, Thalassa, who had just woken up, realized her phone had died. She had just plugged it in and powered it back on when the call came through. She answered.

Callum’s voice, filled with worry, came through: “Thalassa, where are you? Are you alright?”

Before Callum could finish, an agitated Hertha snatched the phone from him, her voice trembling with relief and fear, “Thalassa, you finally answered! Where have you been? You had us scared to death.”

Hertha’s urgency and the hint of tears in her voice tugged at Thalassa’s heartstrings. “I’m at home. My phone died,” she hurriedly explained.

“So, you're home. We're right outside, come open the door,” Hertha said. After Thalassa agreed, Hertha hung up, realizing she was holding Callum's phone. With a slight apology, she handed the phone back to Callum, “Sorry, I was just... really worried.”
