Upon inspection, Allison saw Lucian in a tailored black suit. His hair was expertly styled, and he had silver-rimmed glasses sitting atop his aristocratic nose. He was shaking hands with the CEO of Riverview Estates. The CEO was in his mid-thirties, quite charismatic and sophisticated, but he paled in comparison to Lucian.

Emma looked surprised. "Allison, you're not thinking of skipping the annual gala, are you?"

Allison nodded, leaving Emma puzzled. "Why? Every artist under Epic Entertainment who receives an invitation attends in their finest attire. Hundreds of media outlets will be there. There are many newcomers who would kill for an invite."
