Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 1175

Henry had spent a few days causing a ruckus at his grandparents' house before he was carted off to his other grandparents'. After getting his fill of fun and mischief, he finally returned home.

At Maplewood Estates, the staff were always on edge around Henry, fearing the next bit of chaos he'd bring.

After a few drinks with a business associate, Andre let out a sigh about his son. "I've never known a kid as demanding as mine. The slightest thing would set him off crying, and the whole family would scramble to make it right. Now, whenever he stirs up trouble, no one dares to look away for even a second. We've spoiled him from the start, and now even the nannies tiptoe around him."

It got to the point where only his parents and doting grandparents could handle him. They treated him like he was made of glass, giving in to his every whim with just a tear. Only his parents had the nerve to lay down the law with a couple of swats when needed.

"The more we coddle him, the more delicate he becomes; the more we indulge him, the more spoiled he gets," Andre lamented about his son's current situation.

His friend chuckled, "Parenting is no walk in the park; it's a universal truth. We've all been there, and Andre, you're right in the thick of it."

Back at Maplewood Estates, Mia was going through some learning apps with Henry, fresh out of the bath and perched on her lap, clinging to her.

When it was time for his formula, he sat on her lap, bottle in hand, sipping away while eyeing the tablet. But, as little ones do, he started banging his bottle against the screen, trying to break it.

Mia set the tablet aside, and with it, Henry, who soon found himself on the receiving end of a spanking, his cries echoing through the living room.

Later, with tears still in his eyes, Henry finished his formula snuggled in his mom's arms, and only then did Mia pick the tablet back up to continue her work.

Sure, he could be a handful, but his sweet moments made up for it, melting their hearts every time.

That evening, Andre came home from a long day.
