When Jane smiled, her eyebrows curled beautifully into little crescents. She was extremely beautiful too, the kind of beauty that was reminiscent of a precious flower that was delicately watered and trimmed every day. Her figure and physical appearance were carefully curated, her dressing sense too did not lose out to Sabrina at all. With a mere glance, Sabrina could tell she was the kind of woman who was well-protected by her man and yet didn't act out based on that love and protection. She was obedient and well-mannered, but she was not delicate or squeamish. Instead, she was gentle and carried herself with ease and confidence.
But Sabrina was different, she had edges. Even when she was quiet, she emitted a cold and hard vibe. And now, much of her coldness had evaporated, and in its place was an independence carved by her career success. Jane admired her for that. She was uncontrollably attracted to her. It might be because Ryan had been extremely nice to Sabrina right from the start. When Sabrina was jobless, Ryan was the one who encouraged her to find a job. Now, looking back, Sabrina held a sense of gratitude for Ryan. That could be why she was immediately fond of the woman who stood beside him. The two of them hit it off immediately, and had soon exchanged numbers. 2
"We should go shopping together next time," Jane said.
"That would be nice," Sabrina answered.
"From now on, I have a lot to learn from you," Jane said again.
"Huh?" Sitting two seats away, Ryan couldn't help but look at Jane. "You're my girl, and you don't know anything about architectural design. What do you have to learn from her?" 1
Jane suddenly blushed. "This is between us women, I'm not going to tell you!"
