"Was there anybody among the entire company who didn't hate you? Could you find a person who didn't hate you? I was the only one-"
Before Deacon finished his sentence, Eevonne cut him off. "What about it, Mister Lowe? You hated me incredibly so. Not only did you hate me, but all of the employees in your company also hated me. Under such circumstances, you did not care about the feelings of the others in the company, did not care that I was a liar and my academic qualifications were not that high, and you even forced yourself to put up with me just to give me a chance to work. Therefore, you've actually shown me great favor and kindness, haven't you?"
The way Eevonne asked him in return made Deacon incredibly exasperated."Of course! Otherwise, what do you think? It was because I pitied you back then. I had the mindset of giving you a chance, so I was purely tolerating you. I was forcing myself to tolerate you! Do you think that you're so capable at work?"
"Then why was it that when I was in your company back then, I had been moving about in front of you every day, disgusting so many of your employees every day, made a hot mess at work every day, did not bring in any profits, and even made the entire company uncomfortable, you could still give me a chance, let me stay and work, let me earn my paycheck, but now, when I'm no longer at your company, you can't tolerate me so anymore? Why must you be so vicious to me? Mister Lowe, are you going to eat your own words?" "You..." Deacon said.
"You have to know that I'm much more capable at work now compared to ten years ago. You were able to tolerate me back then, but you can't do it anymore now. Why?"
Deacon was speechless. He was cornered by Eevonne to the point that he could not say anything anymore.
