"S-Sir, hello...hello, I..." James was trembling in fear and he did not know what to say.

Those bodyguards looked well-built and tough at a glance and were very professional. "S-Sir, 1-listen to me. If you still want to beat me up, punish me, or have me killed after you’ve listened to me. I'll be at your mercy. Do you think this is alright?" James looked at Old Master Shaw with immense sincerity. He went all out. Since he would b e dead either way, he might as well take a chance to fight for himself.

"I don't know what Angie had told you, but I must let you know that I did not approach Miss Shaw on my own initiative!" James said very loud and clear.
