The eldest daughter of the Payne family, Chloe, had a very sonorous voice, and it also had a prideful tone. Chloe was dressed in bejeweled and luxurious clothing. In a general sense, she was considered a woman from the high society of the small county. Her husband's family owned a bathhouse and it was able t o fetch them around two thousand dollars in income every day. In a month, the bathhouse was able to generate an income of sixty thousand dollars. Chloe was working in a cotton mill herself, so she was considered to be a worker with a stable income.
Not only that, but Chloe also had two stores that her own family had given her when she got married.
Those two stores were also able to fetch Chloe a few thousand dollars of income every month. Therefore, Chloe had always been living comfortably like a wealthy woman in the small county.
When fur coats were fashionable in the county, she was willing to spend a few thousand dollars to buy fur coats to wear. When it was trendy among the women i n the county to have microblading done on their eyebrows, she also would keep up with the trend and have the procedure done. Therefore, although Chloe was already almost 36 years old, she was still exuding the charm of a young lady, so much so that she appeared to be much younger and prettier than the young girls from the small county.
Not only Chloe like that, but the other two daughters o f the Payne family, Ashnah and Abigail, were the same as well. All three sisters had two stores each, so they had an income of more than a few thousand dollars every month. All three of them also had stable jobs and they all married prominent businessmen in the county. The three sisters were simply the three proud and beautiful women of the county. However, the three sisters were not that educated.
It was not because their parents were unwilling to send the three sisters to school. It was truly because the three of them had been living very well growing u p, so they had countless friends surrounding them and fawning over them. So much so that when the three sisters got into middle school, they were notorious bullies in their school. There were also quite a number of unemployed young men who were very fond of the three sisters. On top of that, the three sisters' grades were not too good, to begin with, and their parents were always spoiling them, so they started dating at a young age when they were in middle school. All sorts of factors combined had led to the three sisters dropping out of middle school. That was the reason why the three sisters seemed glamorous on the surface, but each of them was uncultured and old-fashioned to their bones. 1
