Everyone was stunned by the situation happening before their eyes. Jane was so frightened that she was frozen in place. She was a gentle woman and has always stayed far away from fighting and killings. She also had never offended anyone. Who would have thought she would have such an encounter when she was just out shopping with a few friends and her child? Jane was truly scared out of her wits.
However, the two-year-old boy, Ricky, did not feel the slightest bit of fear. When he saw the shiny knife, Ricky used his hands to grab it instead.
On the other hand, Sabrina, who was at the side, was very calm. She did not want to frighten Ricky, so she rushed over as fast as she could and wanted to use her body to block the knife for Ricky.
Everything happened in a blink of an eye, and there was no room for anyone to think much about anything. Just as Sabrina shielded Ricky, someone already moved quicker than Sabrina to block in front o f both Sabrina and Ricky, and with a swift lift of a foot, that knife was kicked away. Immediately after that, with a backhanded horizontal pull, that person dislocated the arm of the woman manning the stall, who was holding a knife, in one fell swoop. By the third move, the woman, the vendor, was already forcefully pushed to the ground. She rolled on the ground and shouted in pain. "Ouch!" One of her arms,
however, was not able to move at all.
"You, who are you?" The woman on the ground raised her head in pain to look at the woman who beat her u P-
Isadora looked down at her from up above. "Lily Parker! Never mind if I don't find you, but you actually came to me yourself! Do you think that because you've already gotten used to bullying Jane, you can't spare her for even a moment and you can't even spare her two-year-old son? Then, let me tell you something! Don't even think about it in this lifetime, Lily Parker. I, Isadora Yeatman, will be by Jane's side twenty-four hours a day. I will use my life to protect her and her son. Even if it were anyone else, nobody should even think of doing anything to Jane, let alone you! Don't even think about laying a finger on Jane!"
