Joy retreated and she was hoping so badly that Delmont could save her. However, he did not even have the expression of feeling worried and sorry for her, let alone save her. He did not even take another look at her. Delmont just closed his eyes and was simply having tears streamed down his cheeks.
Joy felt hopeless. While she was in despair, she was bullied by Malvolio to the point where all sorts of her ugly state were exposed. She had not a single piece of clothing on her while she laid on the cold hard floor. All the things that she had done were the lowliest and the most humiliating. She was treated a hundred times more inferior than the women who sold their bodies for a living in the ancient times. She thought that that was already the end and nothing could be worse than that. However, never would Joy have ever expected that her time was up at the next moment. After Malvolio had feasted upon every inch of her, he sent her to hell without any hesitation.
Joy's death did not make Delmont feel too sad. He was already at peace. Before he died, he thought to himself, what was happiness? Although the originally small clothing factory was not very large, it could make up to two million dollars every year. His original wife was so understanding and had never forced him t o go out and socialize for business and so on. He originally had two small children, a son and a daughter. Although the boy was not his child, the boy was very lovable and he would be very intimate with him and call his father. When he came home from work, the boy would bring him his slippers. When he was sitting on the couch to rest, the boy would give him a back rub. That boy was truly very well-behaved. He did not need to worry about him too much. Also, the boy was already very good at taking care of his sister when he was just almost eight years old. Although his parents were very busy, he would not make them worry at all.
Thinking about that, how happy, stable, and fulfilled their lives were at that moment? If he had not divorced back then, the boy should be a proper college student already, and he may even be a very talented person. However, the boy who had once call him his father had become a murderer. Everything started because of the divorce.
Delmont thought about Joy back then. At that time, Joy was truly taking one step forward to taking two steps back as her tactic to seduce him. She said to him while crying that she would not request for him t o divorce his wife. She would terminate her pregnancy herself, and then go somewhere far away. I n the end, such a tactic did get him hooked. Who could he blame? After all, the root of all problems was himself. He thought he was a rich person after having a net worth of a few millions, so he became full of himself. However, at that moment, everything was all gone! It was all empty!
After a whoosh of air, Delmont just felt an ice cold feeling on his neck, then immediately after that, he saw his head and body was in two different places.
