Salute to the General novel Chapter 3613

The repair work on the Beacon of Dawn progressed systematically.

On a particular day, Nathan was having a meal with his family when Colin entered, displaying respect in his demeanor. “Mr. Cross?”

Nathan greeted him with a smile, “Have you had dinner yet? If not, please join me.”

Colin felt honored by the invitation but was somewhat taken aback and didn't dare to sit down and dine with Nathan. He quickly responded, “Mr. Cross, I've already eaten. I have some news to report.”

“What is it?”

Colin conveyed the message, “I've just received word from the Earth Alliance. They are planning a world charity event soon. The leaders of the Earth Alliance will unite to inspect post-war city reconstruction efforts worldwide, providing both moral and material support to expedite the recovery of severely damaged cities across various nations.”

Nathan was well-informed about this event, as it was proposed by Leopold and received agreement from War Gods like Wolfric.

Previously, the Gods' spaceship invasion had wreaked varying degrees of havoc on major cities around the world, causing extensive damage and leaving many citizens homeless.

Numerous cities in different countries were still grappling with the aftermath of the war.

The Earth Alliance's initiative aimed to inspire everyone to actively contribute to rebuilding their homes and extend assistance to cities in need.

After finishing his report, Colin posed a question, “Mr. Cross, the alliance is inquiring whether you'd like to personally partake in this world charity event.”

Nathan replied with a smile, “As the Commander-in-Chief of the Earth Alliance, we have emerged victorious against the Gods this time, defending our planet Earth. Naturally, I will attend the post-war reconstruction charity event to encourage everyone in their efforts to rebuild our homes.”

With his statement made, Nathan turned to Penny, smiling as he said, “Honey, come along!”

Penny was taken aback and asked, “Am I going too?”

Nathan replied with a smile, “You are now the First Lady of our country. Naturally, you should accompany me to such events.”
