While Anne was listening to that, Corentin’s call came in.

Anne knew this was a call she had to answer no matter what. “…Uncle.”

“What did you tell your grandpa?”

“Uncle…you can’t be influenced by Tommy. He’s going to get you killed,” said Anne.

“Is that so? Since you suspected it, you should’ve come to ask me personally instead of going to someone else.” Corentin’s voice was rather cold.

After she hung up the call, Anne, who was mentally prepared, went to the mansion.

“What are you doing?”

“I just finished showering.”

“What’s the matter?” Anne sensed the coldness coming from the other end of the call.

“You should’ve given me a video call when you were in the showers.”
