Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 5932

"What's up?"

Darryl chuckled at the dazed look on Avalon's face. "Hello, earth to Avalon!"

Avalon returned to her senses at last. She hopped onto the sofa, stretching out and saying proudly, "Oh, I'm just grateful to have been taken in by the great Darryl Darby!"

Darryl could not help but chuckle at the mischievous look on her face. "Enough of that! Someone will be bringing you food in a bit. You can get some rest if you get tired, alright? I'm going to see an old friend."

"Okay! You don't have to worry about me. I'll be just fine."

Darryl smiled, nagging for a while longer before he walked out of the room.

Half an hour later, a private jet landed in the Valencia City airport carrying none other than Felix Blakely. Felix was not in Valencia City when Darryl had called but had rushed over at once.

His sudden visit had shaken the town, and all of the city's richest and most powerful families came at once to visit, but Felix had turned all of them down.

Over at a private club in Valencia City.

Felix sat in the biggest room, all smiles and emotion, as Darryl lay sprawled on the couch next to him.

"Brother Darryl!"

Felix was all smiles, sighing as he said, "It's been so long, and you have not gotten the slightest bit less cool, have you? Have a drink with me for old time's sake, won't you?"

Alright!

Darryl nodded with a smile. "I can have a few drinks, but not too many. I've still got a trip to go on early tomorrow."

Felix was beside himself with emotion. It was important to note that drinking with Darryl was a rare opportunity, and he called out to a server at once to have them fetch the most prized bottle of liquor for them as well as some food.

The table was filled in no time, and the pair began to wine and dine amidst their chatter.

Darryl's stories of the past few years had Felix in a trance, and he could not help but exclaim, "Gosh, you really are a legend, Brother Darry."

Following that, his gaze flashed wistfully. "If it weren't for all these businesses I'm now in charge of, I'd want to go wandering again too."

Darryl chuckled. "You're not too bad yourself! Look at you. You've got businesses all over the Nine Continents!"

A thought came to Felix then, and he scratched his head. "I've been paying attention to the wandering world in the past few years. What do you think of the Lange wedding happening in a month, Brother Darryl?"
