In the Northern Territory, inside a luxurious mansion, a burly man in a floral quilted jacket sat leisurely on the couch.
A nearby deity statue suddenly glowed brightly.
"I know. It's fine. Let those two kids handle it. For now, let them go," he said.
"You mean that kid? With Harkin there, there won't be any problems," he added.
The man stood up, and the pitch-dark room instantly lit up.
Though he was robust, he seemed to be in his prime years, with quite a few white hairs on his head. The wrinkles and muscles on his face gave him an imposing presence.
Nearby, five deity statues and a shrine continued to burn many candles.
The man closed his eyes, observing the battlefield from his perspective.
Anox and Kalo were continuously covering each other defensively. Then, Arlan summoned more Nether demons to attack the brothers.
They weaved through the demons, barely keeping up.
"Damn it, there's no time to catch a break. The attacks are too relentless!" Kalo exclaimed. He knew they could not call for Lord Torrich at this moment; they were being overwhelmed by Arlan's onslaught without any time to prepare.
Suddenly, a crimson flash streaked through. The demons summoned by Arlan were sliced into pieces.
Arlan quickly looked up at the sky.
"The mink demon, Harkin, has intervened."
"Oh? Kid, you recognize me?" Harkin gazed down at Arlan. Harkin was not familiar with Arlan's aura; it felt as though his power was artificially accelerated. Even so, Harkin knew she had to assist the Dune brothers.
Seeing the burly man in the floral quilted jacket and the mink demon, Harkin, the Dune brothers quickly expressed their gratitude.
"Thresmund, thank you!"
