Hendrix held me in his arms, and his gaze fell on our reflection in the mirror as he watched me brush my teeth. Then, he chuckled and said, "The reason why you want to dress up is that you want to go back to school.”
I giggled and said, "A little, but I feel like I want to look good for you." I brushed my teeth and struggled to get off him, but he set me down on the toilet bowl.
I looked up at him and frowned slightly. "What's wrong? I haven't washed my face yet."
His gaze fell on my feet. "It's too cold to be standing in your bare feet. I'll go and get you a pair of slippers. Don't get off yet." He said as he strode off.
He came back with a pair of slippers and asked me to put them on. He kissed me and said, "I'll go down to the kitchen and make breakfast. Come downstairs when you're ready."
I nodded and proceeded to wash up by myself.
Since we were meeting up with Nerissa, I flipped through my entire wardrobe to find a nice outfit to wear. I settled on something pink in color, and it was from that year's latest style lineup. I was not certain when Hendrix had gotten this, but it didn't look too bad. It had a ladylike vibe to it, and it was a bit different from how I usually dress.
After getting changed, I sat down in front of the dressing table to put on my makeup and blow dry my hair. I had not cut my hair in a very long time, and so it had grown out, down to my waist. Seated in front of the dressing table, I took a good look at my hair, and I was particularly delighted with it.
Despite the length, my hair was still full and luscious. My face looked more radiant, and my smile looked more relaxed.
