I frowned and suddenly remembered Wendy. I quickly said, "Hendrix, someone else might be able to help us. It's Wendy, her father might have met Sebastian in person. If Wendy can persuade her father to testify against Sebastian, it can solve our problem."
After giving it some thought, I continued, "By the way, before you meet up with Wendy, you should go and look for Susan, Abby and Yonas. They were all victims. Wendy is now in a dilemma because she is afraid that her father might get in trouble. However, if you get help from the three of them, you might be able to convince her. And is there any way to ensure the safety of Wendy's dad? He was involved in organ trading after all. If this thing gets investigated, he might also be convicted."
After a moment of silence, Hendrix said from the other end of the line, "I'll try my best. Sebastian probably has his eyes on that box. If necessary, take that box with you. That box doesn't mean much to us, so if he wants it, just give it to him. Try not to get involved in any conflict with him."
I knew what to do. I nodded and hung up the phone, ready to head out.
Tobias saw that I was about to head out. He ran up to me and stared at me in shock. "Where are you going? Are you not taking me along with you? Are you seeing another man without my knowing?"
I glanced at him and nodded. "Well, I am indeed going on a date with another man. Would you like to join us? Won't it be exciting if you join us?"
His face flushed red for no reason. He stared at me and said, "No way, Arianna. You're so shameless. I can't believe you would do something like this behind Hendrix's back. I'm ashamed of you."
I was speechless. I looked at him and said, "Are you going to join us? If you are not, then I'll be taking my leave now."
He nodded repeatedly and got in the car before me. Looking at me, he teased, "How would I miss out on such an exhilarating event? Even just thinking about it makes me excited."
