Initially, I planned on driving on my own. But the moment I walked out of the house, I saw that Sheridan was already waiting for me next to my car. Valerie must have arranged this because she was worried about me going back to Abby's village alone.
Despite his age, Sheridan was a well- groomed man. He looked like a noble. When he saw me, he let out a smile and said, "Your dad wants me to come with you and keep an eye on you."
