My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 1296

I looked over curiously and saw a boy in his twenties with flowers in his arms. He was kneeling on one knee with an expectant look on his face. It seemed that he was proposing to a girl.

Due to my curiosity, I pulled Hendrix closer and saw the girl who was standing in front of the boy. It was Estella. I was right when I said that girls in their twenties were already very beautiful at their age.

She seemed to be shy and blushing. Probably because she was surrounded by a large crowd, she stood awkwardly and said quickly to the boy who was down on one knee, "Vincent, let's go back and talk about this first. Let's go!"

She tried to pull the boy away, but there was a difference between the strength of men and women. The boy seemed to have made up his mind that he wanted a successful proposal. His face was full of longing when he looked at her and said, "Stella, I really like you. Just say yes, I promise I'll be good to you in the future."

The people around him cheered and chanted, "Say yes, say yes..."

Estella forced a smile. She appeared to be more embarrassed rather than shy now. She glanced around and her gaze fell onto me. She paused for a moment, then looked at the boy and said, "Vincent, I don't understand. You clearly know that I don't like you, and I won't say yes. Why are you still lying to yourself here? Not only do I tell you that I don't love you, but I don't even have any feelings for you, so please leave. Please don't use this public proposal to pressure me, okay?"

No one had expected a romantic proposal to turn into such a farce. The audience seemed to quiet down, and some people even left noiselessly.

Kneeling on the ground, the boy's face turned red from awkwardness and embarrassment.

"You didn't tell me this before." The boy opened his mouth, at a loss about what she had just said.
