Hendrix noticed my gaze and asked with a slight frown, "Do you know him?"
I nodded. Just as I was about to walk towards Westin, Oscar stopped us because he wanted to talk to Hendrix. Naturally, Tiago noticed me too.
When he saw me, Tiago narrowed his eyes, and then raised his glass to me with a smile. "Miss Reid, this is fate. I didn't expect that well meet here. It's really fate!"
Oscar was about to propose a toast to Hendrix, but when he heard Tiago's words, he smiled and asked, "Do you two know each other?"
"Of course, Miss Reid and I have been through death together. I never thought that I would see her again during this lifetime, but alas, life is a surprise. It's really fate!" The way Tiago put it was really ironic.
I pressed my lips together. I simply couldn't bring myself to smile at a demon. I moved behind Hendrix and didn't say anything.
Hendrix looked at me, and then his gaze fell on Tiago. He asked indifferently, "Who are you?"
Tiago didn't seem to mind me at all. He said, "Mr. Roberts, I'm Tiago. I knew Miss Reid from when we were in Myanway, but judging from her reaction now, I think she has forgotten me. It's really sad!"
Hendrix frowned slightly, said a few implicit words, and sent both of them away. He looked at me and asked, "Did you meet him when you were in Myanway?"
