I nodded. Her statement had some truth in it. At first, I thought that Ziglar mistook her and Hendrix for husband and wife because Hendrix didn't explain nor deny it. But after thinking about it thoroughly, it was true that Rowane had always presented herself as Mrs. Roberts when she saw the old man. Hendrix didn't give an explanation, so everyone automatically assumed that she was Hendrix's wife.
Thinking of what had happened, I couldn't help but asked, "So she is a backstabber?"
She snapped her fingers and said, "You're smart. It's best to judge her as a backstabber. Think about the idol dramas you've watched. The female lead in the Legend of Evernight two years ago was the perfect example of a backstabbing b*tch."
"I haven't watched it before, so I'm not sure." I paused and said, "What about the hypocrite type?"
She raised her eyebrows, "Look at Dahlia, think carefully about what she has done that left you with a deep impression"
"The words she said to Hendrix the last time they met!" I exclaimed. I had almost forgotten about that incident. Dahlia had purposely changed the story of what had occurred in Myanway.
If we weren't there at that time and hadn't heard her version of the story, perhaps Hendrix would have misunderstood.
She looked in Hendrix's direction and gestured to me. "Look, she's trying to seduce your man. Are you sure you don't want to go over and take a look?"
I shook my head and moaned, "Hendrix and I have already made it clear. Whatever they do now has nothing to do with me. If I go over now, what can I do? I have already rejected him, but I don't want him to be with another woman. My actions are contradictory, just like going to the toilet but refusing to do my business. In other words, I'm no different from a hypocrite or a backstabber."
