When she got outside, she swung Beale’s hand away. “The young ones insulted your wife, but you didn’t defend me!”

“Didn’t that happen because you tried to make a fuss?” Beale said helplessly. “Could Adina, the daughter-in-law, decide on sending Mabel abroad? It was obviously Duke’s order. You’re an outsider. Why do you bother so much?”

“An outsider? Why am I an outsider?” Mandy said angrily. “I’m Duke’s aunt!”

“And I’m his uncle!” Beale replied coldly. “That’s enough. Let’s go home and stop interfering with their family matters!”

The car door was pulled open, and Beale got in. Mandy snorted and could only leave together with him.

A while later, Duke drove his car out as well.

Adina was sitting in the passenger seat while gently applying her dusty rose lipstick.

“Do you really not want me to accompany you?” Duke held the steering wheel and asked.

Adina pursed her red lips. “There’s no need. I can handle such a trivial matter. You can hang out in Winters Corporation for a while before you come and pick me up.”

Adina pushed the car door open and stepped out. She turned around and waved. “Remember to come and pick me up.”
