My Lord, My Billionaire Master novel Chapter 904

William kneeled down.

The sound of something heavy hitting the ground came into Patrick's ears.

Patrick took a step back, his face full of shock.

William kneeled down?

The other side.

That night, Alice waited in the old house for a long time. She sat at the door and watched people passing by with her arms around her knees.

When the dinner ended, Mr. Bacon and a few other neighbors walked past. They kept looking around and wanted to talk with her, but they were all stopped by bodyguards.

Alice did not stop the bodyguards. Without asking she could know what Mr. Bacon wanted to know.

She didn't know too.

Oh no, that was not precise. She might know it now, but was not very sure.

"Mrs. Cullen." One of the bodyguards hung up the call and walked in front of Alice, "Mr.

Cullen asked me to tell you, no one would tell Mr. and Mrs. Clyne that Miss Clyne had passed away. Besides, Mr. Cullen still has something to do tonight, so he wants you to sleep first. Please don't wait for him."

In the past, if William were busy but she went to sleep first, he would definitely be annoyed until she apologized.

But now William let her sleep first.

Alice had been burying her face in her arms before the bodyguard said that. She raised her head to look at the bodyguard, "Then you could tell him, I won't sleep until he comes back."

The bodyguard was stunned. He retreated step by step and made a phone call again. Seriously, both of them had a phone. Why didn't they contact each other themselves, but through him?

The bodyguard suddenly found himself really missing the butler. If the butler was here, everything would have been settled.

Alice sat so long that her waist and back began to be painful. To feel better, she stood up and walked with her hands against her back, while walking, she looked down at her bulging belly.

Baby, do you think Daddy will be back tonight?

Why William tried his best to find Patrick at this time? That was what she couldn't figure out for the period. But after she seeing Patrick again, she suddenly understood.

William was simply looking for someone to protect her. Actually it was not an easy thing. This person should be able and willing to protect her, and he couldn't be spied on by Lancaster. Only Patrick was qualified to do this.

For her, William had even found back his love rival.

Alice didn't know how to describe her feeling.

Could she see William again? Would he leave this night to declare war on Lancaster?

Thinking about this, Alice started to panic. She wasn't ready yet, really.

All of a sudden, a lamp's light lit the night. That was too bright, Alice covered her eyes with her hands, and watched out through the gaps between her fingers.

Then, she let out a breath of relief, and her entire body relaxed.

Good.

Fortunately, William had returned.

As the lights dimmed, a tall figure walked towards her from the darkness. William headed to her with hurried steps.

"You won't sleep if I don't come back? You're pregnant, do you know?"

William scowled at Alice as he lifted her up from the ground and carried her inside.

Alice looked at him in silence. She reached out and grabbed his clothes to her nose. After taking a light sniff, she frowned. William lowered his eyes to scowl at her, "Smell what?"

"You've drunk."

Alice said while looking at his cold face.

"Just a little. You still can smell it out? A dog's nose. " William snorted with laughter. Although he still pretended to be angry, the cold in his eyes had melted away, replaced by affection.

William carried Alice upstairs, and carefully laid her on the bed. Then he took off his windbreaker and casually threw it away, "Can you smell it now?"

Alice sat on the bed and looked at him silently.

"Why are you looking at me like that? Ask it if you want to know anything. "William pulled over a chair and sat down in front of her, his long legs trapping hers.

"Are you still going out?" Alice looked into William's black eyes.

"That's not what you want to ask."

William looked like he had seen through her.

"Then what do you want to answer?"

Alice followed his words and asked. They were both talking things in riddles. This had never happened between them in all these years.

I knew your thoughts. You also knew mine. You guessed I knew more, but I guessed you wouldn't let me know more.... They just couldn't talk things straightforward.

William looked down at her face. He narrowed his eyes with his lips curled into a smile, "I killed him."

Alice's expression even didn't change.

William lifted her chin, leaning closer, "Alice, it's not like you. Not sad? Not angry?"

"Didn't you say it? I can't be unhappy. I'm pregnant now. It's bad for our baby." Alice replied. But actually, that was not the real reason. She just didn't know how to react.

Originally, she didn't believe William would kill Patrick.

Let alone now she guessed William was looking for Patrick to protect her. What William did was all for her, and he didn't hope she would know it. But now she had known it. It was beyond her capacity to pretend to be angry.

"You don't believe I killed him?"

William asked.

Was he trying to figure out if she had guessed the real reason?

"I don't know what you will do specifically, but you are William, so I believe in you," Alice said with his head slanted.
