Although Yesseca had deleted Tremaine's mobile phone after parting with him, she couldn't forget his number.
She remembered it clearly.
Soon, the phone was connected.
"I'm Yesseca," she said.
The other party was silent for a moment before asking, "What's the matter?"
"I'm in Nashaland. I want to see Rorita, so can you tell me where her grave is?" she asked.
He fell silent again.
Yesseca was not in a hurry, so she waited.
After waiting for a while, he said, "Where are you? I'll come over now." After a pause, he added, "I'll take you there."
15 minutes later, Tremaine arrived.
Yesseca got into the car.
The car drove past the streets of Nashaland. She stared out of the window.
She was in a daze looking at the familiar yet strange place.
After an unknown period, they arrived at the cemetery.
Rorita's tomb was in the furthest most corner at the cemetery.
Yesseca stood in front of Rorita's tomb for a long time. Finally, she placed a bouquet of lily and the Rorita bread.
After leaving the cemetery, Tremaine wanted to send Yesseca to Agaphen City.
She said, "I can go back myself."
He paused for a moment and then said, "Let me send you there. After all, we will meet less often in the future."
Or perhaps never.
His words caused her to hold her breathing before she nodded and whispered, "Okay then."
With that, he drove to Agaphen City.
Unintentionally, Yesseca glanced sideways and looked at Tremaine's side profile.
He seemed to have lost some weight, and his jawline was sharper.
Suddenly, a surge of emotion welled up in her heart.
