The villager pointed out the little path they’d have to follow, in order to find the village graveyard.

It was clear that the car would not fit into such a narrow path.

Tyson turned to discuss this with his boss: “Sir, I can’t drive us through there. It’s all mud, so we might get stuck.”

Immediately, Jasper opened the door and got out of the car.

Last night, how it had felt to touch Willow, the scent of her body… it had been exactly like that woman from five years ago…

He’d reached into her clothes on purpose, and found the same satin-smooth skin, delicate as a dream… setting his heart afire, remembering the passion of that night…

His blood was boiling. His throat was seized up tight.

At first, he’d allowed Willow to be by his side because he wanted to train up his own willpower, and learn to resist her charms.

His ultimate goal was to remain calm and in control of himself, even if she stripped completely naked and laid herself down before him.

And yet… when her fingers brushed against his hand… and when she’d bent over, and the top of her blouse dipped to reveal the slightest glimpse of her cleavage… he’d nearly attacked her, right there.

This did not bode well…

And so, Jasper had come to visit Yvette’s grave, and take a look at the woman he’d actually slept with, so that he could form a clear idea of how she was a different woman from Willow.

Perhaps that would help him put these desires to rest.

Besides, that woman had saved him using her body, and he’d never thanked her properly, nor returned here to seek her out.

Although she was no longer part of this world, he ought to pay his respects, nonetheless.

Tyson exited the car as well, and hurried after Jasper as he set off down that path to the village graveyard.

Ahead lay an endless field of green, too vast to believe. Now and then, a wild bird would burst out from the tall grass with a rustle.

The air was fresh. Nature was thriving here. It soothed the soul.

The path itself, though, was absolutely terrible.
