Willow tightly closed her eyes. She stiffened up so much that even her toes felt rigid.
However, the expected kiss was taking a long time to happen.
"Pfft..." the man laughed softly.
His powerful, scorching breath hit her lips, and there was a sense of pressure and a subtle masculine sandalwood fragrance.
Willow's heart skipped a beat, and she suddenly opened her eyes to find his handsome face in front of her.
He was close enough for her to see the pores on his skin. His skin was excellent and firm without a trace of impurity. It wasn't like the delicate skin of a woman but rather with the right balance of male ruggedness and charm.
His attractive lips curved into a smile, and even his deep eyes held a hint of amusement.
He was so breathtakingly handsome that it left Willow breathless.
Why was he laughing?
What on earth did he find amusing?
She felt a bit dumbfounded and utterly at a loss.
It was as if she wanted to find a hole to hide in, but there was no place to dig one here.
Willow remained frozen against the wall, unable to move. After a considerable effort, she finally found her voice.
However, when she spoke, it came out soft and feeble.
"Mr. Hughes, this is the restroom. We shouldn't mess around..."
She realized that her voice sounded weak, like a helpless and yielding woman.
She really wanted to slap herself!
Why was she so spineless, and why did she lack the strength to speak in front of this man?
Hearing her feeble voice, the mocking and icy smile at the corner of Jasper's lips grew more pronounced.
He released her chin, straightened up, and disdainfully said, "Your looks are not enough to tempt me."
With that, he glanced at her with a cold, dark gaze and exited the restroom.
So, that was her little trick, right?
Saying no but, in reality, trying to seduce men with her actions!
Playing hard to get, huh? She was quite skilled at it!
Otherwise, how could she have ensnared Dale so effectively? She had driven even him to the point where he couldn't resist her! That was not all; she even produced substantial evidence to prove that she had rejected Dale, and it was Dale himself who had relentlessly pursued her!
She really was so skillful at playing this game!
