Jasper rubbed his temples, feeling a slight headache starting.
Why would he need her blood? What would he even do with it?
Tyson was also taken aback. Was this woman really willing to trade her life to settle her debt?
Now, he was uncertain about what to do and could only wait for Jasper to decide.
Jasper was speechless. His voice was low and cold as he said, "Just compensate for the minor damages."
For that family, even a small sum was enough to make them anxious and ensure they remembered their lesson.
Upon hearing Jasper's decision, Tyson immediately said, "Alright, stop crying. Our CEO is kind-hearted. Considering the kids' ignorance and the loss of their father, you'll need to compensate us three thousand dollars. Let's settle it at that."
Upon hearing that Jasper had shown some leniency, Tyson was secretly pleased for that family. Raising four kids as a single mother was truly a challenging feat.
"Three thousand dollars?" Rachel repeated and glanced at Willow.
Willow vigorously nodded in agreement.
Rachel said, "Alright, I'll borrow the money from someone. I'll bring it to your company this afternoon and personally apologize to Mr. Hughes."
"Alright."
After reaching an agreement, Tyson hung up the phone.
On the other end, Rachel quickly wiped away her tears after the call ended. She happily told Willow, "We only need to pay three thousand dollars now, not two hundred and sixty thousand."
Two hundred and sixty thousand dollars would have meant Willow's life.
Rachel didn't have that much money either.
But three thousand dollars?
That was an amount they could afford.
