"..." Willow was speechless.
Wasn't this a little inappropriate?
Why had Jasper asked her to kiss him?
"What's the matter? Do you regret your decision?" Seeing how she had her shoulders hunched and was hesitating, his voice turned cold.
Willow instantly felt intimidated by his cold aura. She quickly said, "No, not at all. My legs are just too sore. I cannot stand up."
With that, she pressed her hand against the ground and prepared to get up.
Coincidentally, her hand landed on a piece of shard from the shattered glass. It pierced through her finger, and she started bleeding.
"Ouch!" Willow immediately pulled her hand away.
Jasper saw the blood droplet on her finger. He grabbed her wrist and forcefully pulled her off the ground. He seated her next to him.
He then held onto her bleeding hand. The shard pierced through her flesh. Blood smeared against the transparent glass. It looked like blood-colored glaze.
Jasper frowned a little before reaching toward her injured hand.
Willow reflexively pulled away. "Mr. Hughes, it's not a big deal."
Jasper grabbed her hand and refused to let her struggle. "Don't move!"
It sounded like he was giving an order and was not to be refuted.
Willow was stunned. She did not dare to move.
Jasper moved closer. His strong scent filled her nostrils. There was a hint of sandalwood that was almost identical to the kind she had smelled five years ago.
Willow could not help but begin to panic.
Jasper had excellent sight. He pinched the shard and quickly pulled it out.
Willow inhaled sharply from the pain. Although she did not scream, Jasper noticed the change in her facial expression.
He knew she was hurting.
