My Four Miraculous Treasures novel Chapter 108

Edith panicked. "Mr. Hughes, that's not what I meant. I-I really like you…"

"That's enough. Get out!" Jasper cut her off. He was not to be challenged.

He no longer wanted to hear her saying she liked him.

Edith looked sadly at Jasper. Seeing how firm he was and how there was no space for negotiation, she nodded slightly and left the office. Tears filled her eyes.

On her way out, she overheard Jasper speaking to Tyson on the phone. "Send me the surveillance footage of the floor below over the past few days. I suspect there's a traitor among the upper management personnel."

Was Jasper referring to the floor below the CEO's office? That was where the offices of the upper management personnel were located.

Edith felt chills down her spine. She stopped walking briefly, but she soon pretended as if nothing happened and walked out.

As soon as she returned to her office, she received a call from the receptionist. "Ms. Price, those two boys are here again. They say they're here to see Willow."

Edith was treated coldly by Jasper earlier. She had yet to recover from the sadness. Now, she was shocked by what the receptionist told her. "Which two boys?"

"Mr. Hughes' nephews," the receptionist answered.

"Stop them. Don't let them come up. I'm on my way down right now," Edith uttered.

After hanging up, she quickly got into the elevator to head downstairs.

Two young boys sat on a bench near the reception. One was so pretty that he looked almost like a girl, while the other had an adorable face and eyebrows that resembled Jasper.

A woman was sitting next to them. She was slightly plump. Her face and eyes were round. She was the cute type.

She was Rachel, the children's mother on paper.

Edith instantly became angry when she saw them sitting there.

She walked up to them arrogantly.

"Ms. Price, nice to meet you. I'm Rachel. We've met previously. Do you still remember me?" Rachel quickly stood up and greeted Edith passionately.
