Skylar's expression turned serious. "It looks like it. Let me make a call."

The phone rang for only a few seconds before it was answered. "Hey, Steven, I just saw Mona at the baby store."

Steven replied, "Yeah, she mentioned this morning she'd be out picking up things for the hospital bag."

"I saw Ruth and some guy acting suspiciously, following her. You need to make sure Mona stays home for now. If she needs anything, have the housekeeper get it. Ruth has no boundaries, and she might do something reckless. Mona's pregnant—she can't afford to take any risks," Skylar warned, her tone firm.

There was a brief silence before Steven's voice turned grim. "Understood. I'll handle it. You should be careful, too."
