On the street outside the filming set, cars passed by while people walked back and forth. But one person stood across the road.
Looking up, she could see several billboards nearby.
Charles' ads were everywhere. His handsome face caught the eye of anyone who passed by. Many people would glance at it twice.
In Jipsburg, many girls were his fans. Charles had become one of the most famous male actors in the industry.
Ruth squinted her eyes, staring at Charles' face on the billboard with intense hatred. "Charles? You've become a superstar, but why don't you care about your own sister? You treat your non-biological sister so well, yet every time I try to contact you, you ignore me.
"Do I not exist to you? And Steven and Harvey, you're all the same. You're all heartless! Am I not your sister too?"
Grinding her teeth in frustration, Ruth muttered to herself for a while before turning and walking toward the set.
Before she could enter, she was stopped by a security guard.
"You can't go in," the security guard, Mortimer Clayton, said.
Ruth immediately adopted a superior attitude. "Why can't I go in? I need to see Charles. I'm his sister."
"Charles' sister?" Mortimer looked Ruth up and down, then raised his hand to push her away.
"Don't make things up. Do you think we haven't seen his real sister before? There are always people trying to pretend to be his girlfriend or sister. Don't think you can sneak in. What's with young girls these days? Always trying to scam people. Go on, leave!"
Ruth's face darkened. "Look properly, I'm Charles' sister. The one you've seen is not his real sister. I'm the real one."
Mortimer was completely speechless. "If you're his sister, call him and have him come out to get you! What kind of young girl spends all her time trying to deceive people like this?"
