Mr. Williams Wants His Ex-Wife Back novel Chapter 154

Rebecca glanced at the time on the lower right corner of the laptop and looked at him again. She said calmly, "It's 11: 35 in the morning."

"Ha..." With a laugh, Adam lifted the quilt and got out of bed. "I've slept for so long."

"I'll have them get you something to eat." As she spoke, Rebecca closed her laptop, got up, and was about to walk out.

"Did you pick me up last night?" Seeing that Rebecca was leaving, Adam looked at her and asked.

"Yes," she replied.

He stared at her as if he was trying to say something, but in the end, he just said, "Thank you!"

Rebecca looked at him and said "alright". Instead of replying with a "welcome", she walked straight out.

That day, they didn't go anywhere. Both of them had been staying in the mansion, but they didn't say anything to each other.

Rebecca was busy all the time except for dinner. Adam was busy for some time, and he would just quietly watch her working. When she unintentionally looked at him, their eyes met.

But it was only a glance at each other, then she would act like she had not seen anything. She would look away and continue to do her own thing.

At night, it was still Adam who slept on the bed and Rebecca on the sofa.

Perhaps it was because he slept too much during the day, he lay on the bed at night, looked at Rebecca with the light from the window, who was curled up on the sofa. He couldn't sleep at all.

In the middle of the night, he got up and lit a cigarette by the window. Rebecca was woken up by the smoke.

"Did the smoke wake you up?" Seeing Rebecca wake up and look at him, Adam asked.

She nodded and said, "Yes."

"I'm sorry, then I won't smoke." As he spoke, Adam put out the half-smoked cigarette in the ashtray.

"It's okay. You can smoke." After that, Rebecca lay down again, changed her position, curled up, and continued to sleep.
