She was embarrassed, but also amused; what were these kids discussing every day? “Duo Duo, um… We’ll talk about getting you a brother in the future,” she explained patiently. “But tonight, you have to listen to me. Daddy is tired, so let him rest in the living room, alright?”

“No!” Duo Duo pouted and doubled on her tantrum. “I want you both to sleep with me! I want Daddy to hug me and fall asleep beside Mommy! That’s how all the kindergarten kids sleep with their parents.”
