Marrying the Man in the Dark (Damien and Cherise) novel Chapter 1186

Chapter 1186 My Son
Having only met the child a few times, Lennon found their unfamiliar and strained father-son relationship too delicate to risk being rude.

Taking a deep breath, the man gathered his patience. "You and I share a bond as father and son by blood," he asserted.

Alexis rolled his eyes in frustration. "It's all too complicated. I don't get it."

"All I know is, the one who married my mom is the dad," Alexis insisted.

Lennon fell silent, grappling with the weight of Alexis's words.

He turned his head to gaze at the two figures lying side by side on the sofa, growing increasingly uneasy no matter how he viewed the scene.

Colin fell asleep and accidentally placed his hand on Lucy's chest.

Seeing Colin's hand moving towards Lucy's chest, Lennon quickly rushed over and moved Colin's hand away to prevent any inappropriate contact.

Alexis watched with a blink of his eyes, feigning ignorance. "Why are you touching my dad's hand, Mr. Lenoir?"

"Oh, I get it now. You want Mom and Dad to go to the bedroom together, right?"

The little guy smiled mischievously, his eyes narrowing. "So, Mr. Lenoir, could you please lend a hand?"

He knew he didn't have the strength to move two adults into the bedroom.

Lucy's back wasn't good, and sleeping on the sofa all night would cause her pain.

Given the opportunity for free labor, why not make the most of it?

Lennon's expression darkened.

Despite wanting to refuse the child's request, he couldn't ignore Lucy's back condition...

He turned his head to glance at Lucy lying on the sofa, couldn't help but sigh, and then proceeded to carry Colin upstairs.

Alexis sat on the sofa, casually sipping a drink and watching TV. "Mom, you said this guy is smart; it turns out he's pretty clever."

"You call him dumb; he acts dumb," he quipped. "Remember when you said no one could fool me, little fool? Well, guess what? He fooled me!"
