It was all due to getting too worked up!
Cornelia latched onto the key point, "Granny, don't panic, this has nothing to do with you. Can you tell me why my grandma got so worked up in the first place?"
Granny Luisa gave a detailed account of what happened at the old house today. After listening, Cornelia was silent for a few minutes before suddenly standing up, "Marcus, can I borrow Ayden for a while?"
The name she called wasn't President Hartley, nor was it Jeremy, but Marcus, which indicated just how agitated she was.
Marcus, "What are you planning to do?"
Cornelia, "You just need to lend me Ayden, don't ask any more questions. Also, you need to take good care of my grandma while I'm gone. I'll be back later."
Collecting evidence, finding the rumormonger, and dealing with those who wanted to harm Cornelia... Marcus had already arranged for people to handle these matters. They should have results by eight o'clock tonight.
He had everything perfectly arranged, so Cornelia didn't need to take matters into her own hands. But whatever she wanted to do, Marcus would always support her, "Okay."
Zack, who had come with them, voiced his concern, "Nelly, what are you planning to do? Take me with you. I'm a man, I can help if there's a fight or something."
Cornelia, "You stay put here. Don't go anywhere. If grandma wakes up, make sure to notify me immediately."
After giving her instructions, Cornelia turned to Marcus, "I'm heading to the parking lot, have Ayden meet me there."
