Natalia went quiet for a few seconds before her voice was heard through the phone. She sounded like she was crying, "Briana, you're mad at me again! You're mad at me over a woman you barely know. Are our twenty years of friendship worth less to you than your sister-in-law?"

Every time Natalia started crying, it made Briana uncomfortable, "Natalia, please don't cry. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled at you."

Natalia continued, "Briana, you promised me you'd help me win over your brother, that I could become your sister-in-law. We were supposed to stick together for life. You can't break your promise."

Briana had to admit, she had made that promise, "Natalia, when my brother was single, I agreed to help you become my sister-in-law. But he's married now and there's no way you can win him over. More importantly, he doesn't even like you. He doesn't even know who you are. Why are you smitten with a man who's never noticed you? Briana felt something was off with Natalia's mood today. She tried calling her back multiple times, but Natalia wouldn't answer.

Unable to reach Natalia, Briana called Cameron. He picked up right away, sounding relaxed, "Bri, aren't you supposed to be in Paris with your brother? What's got you calling me?"
