“Mom, maybe Lauren was afraid of her teachers criticizing her in the college,” Sally comforted Mrs. Bennett patiently. Mrs. Bennett nodded and agreed with Sally. She thought Sally was right. Lauren must care much about her studies, so that she 

could have a bright future. 

After understanding this, Mrs. Bennett decided to call Lauren’s teacher. 

When the teacher was about to have a rest, she received a strange call and then picked it up, “Hello?” 

“Hi. This is Lauren Bennett’s mother.” 

Lauren’s mother? The teacher was rather surprised because as she knew, Lauren was an orphan who was raised up by an old man. She didn’t know why Lauren’s mother called her. 

Worrying if something bad happened to Lauren, the teacher was a little nervous and asked, “Is there something wrong with 

Lauren? What happened?” 

“Lauren is alright,” Mrs. Bennett shook her head and said, “I just want to talk with you Lauren.” 

The teacher was relieved when she heard that Lauren was alright and she said, “Okay, what do you want to know about Lauren?” Mrs. Bennett said that she wanted the teacher to reduce the burden on Lauren’s shoulders and she also asked the teacher to find 

someone else to replace Lauren. 

After listening, the teacher did not speak for a long time. 

Mrs. Bennett continued, “Lauren is my daughter and I didn’t want her to be so tired. She didn’t have to work so hard and she just 

needed to stay at home.” 

“What are you taking about?” The teacher was so shocked that she didn’t know what to say at that moment, and it took a long time before he continued, “Do you know about Lauren’s research?” 

Mrs. Bennett didn’t care about her research at all and she just didn’t want Lauren to be so tired. Even if it was a great research, Lauren wouldn’t take a big part of it. Mrs. Bennett said. Her mentor would be the core leader of that research. 

Mrs. Bennett didn’t want to talk to the teacher anymore, and said, “Don’t Lauren too tired.”
