Chapter 74 

Lauren walked toward the gate of the villa, and as soon as she walked into the door, a maid rushed out from inside. Lauren had no time to dodge her and was hit hard. She looked up saw disgust in the maid’s eyes. 

Lauren was a little surprised. She knew this maid but was not sure about her name. Everyone called her Larry, who had been 

serving the Bennett family for a long time. She accompanied Aunt Clara and Sally when they were little so everyone in the Bennett 

showed respect to Larry: 

Larry no longer worked but she was still allowed to stay in the Bennett family. After Lauren returned to the Bennett family, she only met Larry a few times and they seldom talked. 

Larry ignored Lauren and hurriedly ran to the phone, saying, “Drive a car here! Erica was in danger! Be quick!” Sally took a few steps forward and asked, “What’s wrong with Erica?” 

Larry held Sally’s hand with tears falling down her face. Her lips even trembled, “She, she committed suicide by taking a lot of 

pills!” 

“What?” Sally was shocked. She didn’t have much contact with Erica, and just had a brief chat with her this afternoon. She thought Erica was a gentle and soft girl and was also very considerate to other people’s feelings. Why did she commit suicide? 

Hearing this, Larry took a glance at Lauren with angry eyes, and said in a gloomy voice, “There is no other reason. She shouldn’t come back to this family.” Even Larry glared at Lauren and even if she didn’t say her name, they all knew she was talking about and 

blaming Lauren.

Lauren stood behind them and did not say anything for a long time. Actually, she didn’t know what she could say. How could they blame this on her? She had never seen Erica so far. 

The Bennett family was already in chaos and no one cared about Lauren at all. Clara looked at Erica, who was lying on the bed with a pale face and weak breath. She was still unconscious. After the car arrived, Clara left, followed by Mr. Bennett and Sally. Lauren took a glance at the gate and Mrs. Bennett quickly blocked in front of her, saying in a cold voice, “Don’t follow. Erica wouldn’t want to see you, 

Larry, who was standing next to Mrs. Bennett, saw Sally expressionless and no worry on her face, so she said angrily to Laurer “Erica committed suicide because of you and you don’t even feel guilty. How could you be so indifferent? Erica suffered this all because of you!” 

Thinking of Erica, who was lying on the bed with a face as white as paper, Larry feel sorry for her. In Larry’s eyes, Erica was a great girl. Even she didn’t come back for many years, Erica would send many things to Larry and told her to take care of herself.
