Alice (POV) -

Within a few minutes, my nipples were getting hard, and I was getting wet down below. As we ran, I was getting hornier and hornier, I could only think about satisfying my sex craving. And the pain. I was almost burning up. I followed closely behind Lucian as we left the party and house and walked to a truck.

I have never had a sudden heat like this one before.  By the time female werewolves reach the age of 18 they know what to expect. Werewolves get into heat usually every six months. During this period, they can get pregnant if they have sex with their mates. The pheromones released during the heat is so strong it draws all the males around. No male wolf can resist a female in heat.

In earlier times, mothers used to lock their unmated daughters in their homes for those two days until the heat passed over. Or used herbal teas to mask the scent, otherwise male wolves would go crazy and give in to their animal instinct. With the discovery of modern medicines and some herbs. Their ministrations can control that heat and mask the scent. My heat was not due until next month. I had no idea why it had arrived early.

"Where are we going?" I asked as Lucian helped me into the truck.

"We're going to a small cabin I own at the far edge of the campus, just a couple of Kilometers away from here. The cabin is on pack property, but far enough for privacy." He replied curtly. 

He was gripping the steering wheel so tightly that his knuckles had turned white. He was getting affected by my scent. 

"Why didn't you tell me you were going to be in heat? I would have changed the plans for the barbecue." He asked.

"It's early. It was not supposed to occur until next month. " I replied, breathing hard.

"But why are we going away?"I asked. 

"The men were agitated at the compound earlier. It could have gotten ugly if we waited any longer to leave. You will drive all the wolves crazy, and it would be hard to deal with." He replied.

We drove out of our compound and onto the paved road, silent until we entered the cabin. It was one large room with a king-size bed in the far corner and an attached bathroom, a sofa, and chair across from the bed, and a kitchen and a small dining table on the other side. I heard the click of the lock behind me as Lucian locked us in.

I looked at him in panic, "Lucian, please don't........"

He looked at me puzzled.

"What are you afraid of?" 

"I prefer not to get pregnant......and....."  I could not finish my sentence, as I almost doubled over in pain. My hot flushes increased. All I could think of was mating with Lucian.

"I want my mate now," Lana was certainly itching to overpower me.

He was suddenly holding me in his arms.

"Alice let me help you, you know your wolf is on the edge, you need release; otherwise you will be in pain." His hand snaked up my leg, disappearing under the waistband of my jeans.

"Damm you are so wet!" He whispered, rubbing his hand over my mound. His eyes were glazed over. I could see how turned on he was. My scent could drive any male crazy with desire. It was taking a lot of self-control for him to not fuck me immediately like a savage animal.

"Oh Lucian," I mumbled, clutching his shoulders. 

"Tell me what you want baby," he said silkily, nibbling my earlobe.

"Please....we can't...." My head was cloudy, and I could not think. 

I felt myself being lifted and then dropped gently on the massive bed. I clutched his shirt and pulled him down over me. 

"Please, Lucian.... it's wrong, we can't be doing this," I said, then ripped off his shirt from the middle, buttons flying everywhere.

He chuckled, "you seem quite eager, though. Let me take you, baby." He whispered in my ears.

"No no no! " I mumbled while running my hands over his now bare chest. 

I felt his lips on mine, he kissed me deeply. I responded by wrestling my tongue with his. My nails digging in his shoulder.
