Bruce’s shouting didn’t get Lily to come out, but it did catch Landon’s attentions. 

Landen stepped out of his office and clearly heard someone shouting for Lily from the outside. He looked at Lily and asked, “Lilly, what is going on?” 

“I’m sorry I don’t really know him. Maybe we should call security?” Lily didn’t expect Brace to be this difficult 

If she went out, she was sure she would be verbally attacked just to get rid of him. So, she decided to keep avoiding him. 

“I don’t care how you do it, just deal with him quickly. There are clients around,” Landon scolded 

Terry was attending to some clients, and the shouting had drawn their attention Lily quickly called security to come over, but when they arrived and saw it was Bruce, they were at 

Daphne came back into the shop to look for Lily. “The Thompsons have a stake in this mall. Security is afraid to chase him away.” 

At this point, it seemed like only Lily going out could solve the problem. 

Landon stood looking out by his office window, watching to see if they had managed to resolve the issue. Lily could only steel herself and go out. 

Bruce wasn’t happy to see her when she appeared. Instead, he was angrier. 

“I knew you were here“” Bruce stormed toward her. His gaze swept over her knee–length skirt and the long, slender legs beneath it. 

Mr. Thompson, I’m working Could you leave for now! Since security didn’t dare to make him leave, Lily couldn’t confront Brace head–on 

When she didn’t sign the deal with the Devereux family, she had already prepared herself to be fired so, her worry right now wasn’t losing her job. It was about offending Bruce and him bringing more trouble for her in the future. 

Bruce lifted his hand to her chin and made her look up. “You weren’t this polite when you wouldn’t pick up my calls and answer my messages. 

Lily turned her head away as shock ran through her. She wondered if Xavier hadn’t explained to Bruce that that wasn’t her number. That would have meant that Bruce had been changing numbers to harass Kader these past couple of days. 

It made sense. If Bruce knew that she had given him a fake number to brush him off, it wouldn’t be as simple as him making a fuss at the shop it would most likely escalate to something more physical 

“I’m sorry, Mr. Thompson, we can talk about this later. Can you not interrupt my work right now? Lily asked politely. 

Bruce’s actions made it clear it was not possible. He grabbed her wrist and told Daphne directly, “Tell your manager that Lay is quitting. I’m taking her with me, and her salary

Duphine stood there, wide–eyed She didn’t dare to nod or shake her head, and she looked toward Lily 

“Please help me take some time off.” Lily was dragged outside by Bruce. She struggled a hit but couldry’t escape and could only ask Daphine to help her request time off.
