After Sarah got out of the car, she leaned toward Xavier and smiled softly as she whispered something in his ear. Xavier’s brows furrowed slightly, but a moment later, he relaxed, and a hint of joy showed in his expression 

They didn’t notice Lily and Maryanne sitting by the window as they entered the hotel next door 

“They are heading into a hotel in broad daylight Maryanne pursed her lips. “Doesn’t Xavier the Hound have a lounge in his office?” 

Lily thought back to that time when Sarah went into Xavier’s office to collect her things, including their intimate wear. Perhaps they were tired of the office and decided to have a bit of tim at the hotel 

“He’s here!” Before Lily could reply, Maryanne suddenly stood up excitedly and picked up her bag and coat. “I’m leaving You two have a good talk. The person my mom introduced to you is definitely the right one.” 

Anyone Marka knew must be from high society. Before Lily could even ask who it was, Maryanne had already dashed off 

Lily frowned and felt uncomfortable. Firstly, her divorce wasn’t finalized yet. Secondly, she really had no intentions of getting into any relationships at the moment. While she was still in a daze, a figure suddenly sat down across from her.

He had been angry at first because no beauty should be this untrustworthy. He came in fuming, but when he saw Lily’s characteristic little face, his anger vanished, and he couldn’t help but feel delighted. 

Lily was shocked. She realized that the man Hazel said Bobby had chosen for her was Bruce. Her frown deepened, and she asked, “You’re not the person Marika introduced?” “Just treat me as the one, since we’ll end up together sooner or later. Bruce leaned forward with a grin. “I’m interested in you, so let’s talk. I’ll let the Devereux family’s matchmaking efforts slide for you.”
