Chapter 360 

“Of course, once we finish the installation, I’ll give you a call so you can come and check through it,” Lily agreed readily. 

The two–bedroom apartment wasn’t very large. It was empty and had no valuable items, so it was fine to go ahead with the installation without the homeowner. Cherry even left Lily a key to the apartment just in case. 

After sending Cherry downstairs, Lily returned upstairs and glanced at the apartment across the hall, where she had once lived for a while. She felt a mix of emotions. 

The workers moved all the materials upstairs and began installing them. Lily found a quiet corner to sit in 

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. After the workers opened it, two men ipsuits walked in. 

“Hello. We are from property management Who is the owner? One of the men asked. 

Lily heard the voices and stepped out from her comer. “We’re from the home renovation company. The owner is away is there something you need? 

A younger man spoke helplessly, “The resident upstairs is resting after ghing birth. She complained that the noise from your installation is too loud. 

“Can you give Mr. Devereux a call and ask if the work can be done in the evening? Upstairs said their baby doesn’t sleep at night.” 

Neighbors from hell. When Lily lived here, she had encountered the pregnant woman living upstairs twice. She was a difficult person to communicate with Lily pulled out her phone and was about to call Cherry, but then realized something wasn’t right. “Isn’t the owner of this apartment Cherry Cane?” The property manager looked at the information in his hands. He shook his head and said, “No, It’s a Mr. Terence DevereuOL.” 

In an instant, Lily froze. 

“Terence Devereu?” Uly suspected she had misheard and asked, “Can I have a look at the owner’s name? 

“Here you go. The owner’s contact number is there too. Please get in touch with him as soon as possible so we can explain it to the people upstairs. 

“After all, we’re all neighbors, so let’s avoid causing too much trouble…” the property manager rambled on. 

Lily didn’t hear a word of it. Once she saw the owner’s name was indeed Terence’s, and the phone number matched his, her heart raced. 

She didn’t understand how this apartment belonged to Terence. 

“Can you contact him directly?” She guessed what was happening but didn’t want to confront it. 

The property manager, in a difficult position, said, “We tried calling twice, but no one picked up. I thought Mr. Devereux couldn’t hear us because of the noise here.” Upon hearing that, Lily gave them Cherry’s contact number. “We’re in contact with this lady for the furniture installation. You can call her.” 

The property manager called Cherry and could only get hold of her after two tries. After some negotiation, the workers agreed to come back in the evening to continue the
