She played along until the end. She walked him to the door and watched him take the elevator down before returning to the company.
Daphne immediately approached. “I just searched him up–be’s impressive! How do you know him?”
“I used to be a nanny for his family,” Lily said with self–mockery.

Lily didn’t want to discuss anything about Xavier, so she sat at the computer. “When you deliver the materials to Mr. Ashford, tell him I’ve already taken care of Mr. Fulton, so ask him to handle things with the headquarters.”
