Whether Lily minded or not was not within Xavier’s consideration. He couldn’t even be bothered to respond to her and drove straight to Nova Group

She turned to glare at Xavier. “You won’t divorce me, and now you’re taking my phone. You’re disrupting my life!” 

Xavier pulled a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and shot her a glance. 

The interior of the car was warm, and Lily’s down jacket was unzipped. It revealed the dress underneath that clung to her shapely figure. Her stomach was flat, and she was not pregnant. 

Xavier lit a cigarette in the car without hesitation. 

The swirling smoke enveloped Xavier’s face, gradually obscuring his expression. He suddenly laughed and said, “Who’s disrupting whose life here?” 

In the past two months, he had touched her only a handful of times. His body was affected too, along with his work Lily had affected him personally and professionally 

Lily thought if Xavier was so afraid of being affected, then he should just go ahead with the divorce. Her chest heaved with emotion, but she didn’t push him any further. She still understood Xavier’s temper, afterall

Lily was speechless, but she still couldn’t swallow the anger in her heart. 

It was clearly his fault, but she had become the “culprit” for their failed divorce. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath to force herself to calm down. 

Lily said, “Okay, one month. During this month, we will continue to live as we are. You need to get me a new phone, and I still have temporary rights to this car I’ll return everything to you… when the divorce happens.” 

It would be inconvenient for her to visit Hayden at the hospital without a car. Getting to work would be a problem without it too, and she had planned to move.
