“Xavier, are you trying to avoid the divorce?” Lily couldn’t understand why Xavier still had doubts about whether she truly wanted to end things. They have already gotten to this point. 

She wondered if he was going to start imagining that she would attempt to reconcile after he had the final divorce agreement in his hands.
