Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 979

Charlie hung around for another hour. Only when he saw Jonathan was fast asleep and a second temperature check showed his fever had broken, did he finally get up to leave.

Henson and Dr. Alan had been waiting outside. Hearing that Jonathan's fever had subsided, they both sighed in relief.

It was already late into the night. Charlie had the driver take Dr. Alan home and told Henson to get some rest as well.

As they walked out together, Charlie asked, "How come it's just you and your uncle at home?"

"My grandpa had a meeting in B City and took grandma with him. My parents are on a business trip, and my sister had an event at school so she's staying there." Henson replied.

"Your uncle's going to be okay, don't sweat it," Charlie said with a smile.

"Yeah, thanks. You should get some rest too," Henson said.

"Give me a ring if anything comes up."

"Will do!"

After Charlie left, Henson went upstairs to check on Jonathan. Seeing him sleeping peacefully, he finally retreated to his own room.

He thought for a moment and decided to send a message, “Estelle, my uncle took his medicine and his fever is gone."

It was already 2 a.m. He assumed Estelle would see his message in the morning, but to his surprise, she replied a few minutes later, "Okay, you should get some sleep too."

"Alright, good night."

"Good night!"

Henson was indeed feeling tired and soon fell asleep.

The next morning, Henson brought breakfast from the kitchen upstairs. Jonathan had just woken up and was lazily smoking a cigarette in bed.
