Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 965

Estelle frowned, quickened her pace, and asked, "Why are you moving rocks?"

The rocks varied in size. Some were as small as stools, while others weighed hundreds of pounds.

Craig, panting heavily and straining to stand upright, answered, "No biggie, they're gonna be used in the afternoon shoot."

The supervisor explained, "There's an outdoor scene this afternoon. Gwen wants a faux mountain as a backdrop. These rocks are perfect!"

Estelle glanced at the remaining huge rocks and asked, "Have you had your meal?"

Craig shook his head, catching his breath, "No, I'll eat after this is done."

The impatient supervisor hurried, "Gwen is waiting to see the results, hurry up!"

Estelle's face darkened. Craig had been in this industry for years, with both experience and ability. He was even an assistant director in previous crews. But now, these crew people were treating him like a manual laborer!

"Craig may have joined the crew temporarily, but you know his qualifications. Why are you bullying him?"

The supervisor replied coldly, "Estelle, you're being unfair. What do you mean by bullying? We're just doing the work assigned by our superiors."

"So, normal work means making Craig do the work of three people, even during lunchtime?" Estelle challenged.

"The shooting schedule is tight, Gwen and the directors are waiting, I have no choice!" he said helplessly.

"Estelle, don't bother. I'll finish soon!" Craig tried to defuse the situation.

Estelle took a deep breath, and didn't argue further. She turned around, starting moving the rocks to the truck, then went for the others.

Craig was stunned, and the supervisor was even more shocked. Each rock weighed over a hundred pounds. Craig, although strong, struggled to lift them. Ordinary people might injure themselves trying. But Estelle, she was lifting them as if they were plastic props, effortlessly.
