Jonathan cast a glance at Manley's hand resting on Estelle's waist, and said, "Mr. Scott seems to be in a good mood, feel free to knock back a few more drinks."

"Of course, but my Estelle here doesn't take kindly to me getting sloshed. I'm afraid she might get ticked off and boot me out of the bed!" Manley gave a sweet laugh, then turned his tender gaze to Estelle.

Estelle was poker-faced, reaching around to grab Manley's waist and gave it a hard twist.

"Ouch!" Manley sucked in a breath, then said even more cheekily, "Don't be shy, it's not like anyone else is around!"

Jonathan chuckled, "Don't worry, Estelle won't be kicking anyone out of bed!"

"Really?" Manley grinned, looking adoringly at Estelle, "Maybe I've spoiled her too much."

Estelle frowned slightly but held her tongue in front of Jonathan and Gwen. She quickly changed the subject and took out a gift for Gwen from her bag, "Happy birthday!"

Gwen accepted the gift, her smile undiminished, "Thank you, Estelle. Today's desserts were made by a three-star Michelin chef, courtesy of Jonathan. Since you're a sucker for sweets, feel free to indulge."

Estelle nodded, smiling slightly, "Okay."

Gwen, arm in arm with her man, looked up at him and said in a coquettish voice, "I'm going to change into a different dress; accompany me, will you?"

"Of course." Jonathan smiled, nodding. He then turned to Estelle and Manley, "Excuse us for a moment, please feel free to make yourselves at home."

"No need for formalities, Mr. Lamont!"

As Gwen walked away arm in arm with her man again, she looked up at him, her eyes filled with adoration and joy as they always were.

Jonathan turned his head to chat with her, patient and gentle.
