Estelle saw his lips sealed and decided to break the silence, "Where's Amiee, didn't she come with you?"

Josiah took a calm breath, his voice slightly hoarse, "She did. She's talking to the doctor; she'll be here in a bit."

"You guys don’t always have to go see the doc when you’re here. I’m right here, wouldn’t it be better to just check on me instead?" Estelle joked.

Josiah didn’t respond. He wasn't sure whether he should apologize or explain his previous ignorance.

All the words seemed weak and pale in front of the girl's scars and blind eyes.

After a while, Estelle turned her wheelchair to face Josiah, "Josiah, I truly don’t blame you. You opposed me because of Yvonne, that’s because you value friendship. You didn’t know we were friends too, so I don’t blame you. As for that guy, I should actually thank you, you know how much I wanted to get back at him."
