Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 920

"Magdalen, have you lost your marbles? With all these reporters around, you dare to slap me? I'll make you pay through the nose for this!" Yvonne, having been publicly humiliated, was fuming, her usually poised image nowhere to be found.

Magdalen let out a cold laugh, her gaze sweeping over the reporters and other stars present at the film festival.

She said, "Every time Yvonne works with another actress, she stirs up drama, blurs out some photos, and claims she's being treating unfairly and her acting skills are being tarnished. Her misled fans then tear into the other actress, thinking she's trying to steal the limelight. They hurl insults and even try to ruin their careers! Once the other actress is sufficiently bashed, Yvonne steps in with some high-sounding words, making herself look like a saint and winning everyone over."

There was a ripple of surprise and murmurs among the crowd. No wonder Yvonne always seemed to be in the news. They had thought she was just a magnet for controversy due to her popularity.

Turned out she was the puppet master all along!

Poor newbies who got exploited by her, all while being oblivious to it!

Yvonne shrieked, "Magdalen, watch your mouth! You're making stuff up. I'll sue you, I swear I will!"

Magdalen, bristling with anger, retorted, "Today, I'm gonna make it crystal clear what's really going on!"

She then pulled out her phone, found a video, and broadcast it on the big screen behind her.

The video featured a man, his face covered with a mask and glasses, holding up a press pass. He confessed, "I'm a journalist from Biway Entertainment. Yvonne's manager approached me to write articles, praising actresses Ms. X and Ms. T.", he continued with a long list of last names.

Everyone started frantically searching for the corresponding full names. "And she didn't just approach me, but other journalists and writers too. This is the hush money they paid me!”

He showed the transaction records on his phone.
