Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 898

J City, the Lamont family.

It was late into the night. Jonathan had just gotten home to find a missed call on his phone. He glanced at it, an unfamiliar number.

The dude unlocked his phone and put it to his ear, "Yo!"

"Long time no see!" The voice on the other end laughed with a heavy accent.

Jonathan's face shifted. He walked into his study before responding, "Maduro?"

"It's me!" The voice sounded rough. "I need a favor."

Jonathan used to be a mercenary, and he and Maduro had spent half a year together in the same team. They had both saved each other's life before.

"Spill it."

"Is the rubber plantation on Kulha Mountain yours?"

"What are you planning?" Jonathan narrowed his eyes.

Kulha Mountain was situated on the border of Blackcrystal. It was a hotspot for smugglers all year round, and the condition was pretty messy.

Ever since the Lamont family bought the rubber plantation at the foot of the mountain, they had taken over the security of the area, to prevent smugglers from making illegal dealings. The Lamont crew guarding the plantation were legally armed, not only to protect the plantation but also to stop the smugglers. They were basically the guardians of Kulha Mountain!

"I’ve got a buddy who wants to ambush a traitor on Kulha Mountain. Can you pull your guys back and let my buddy enter your territory to avoid any conflict?"

It was common for people fleeing from some organizations to sneak through Kulha Mountain. Even if Jonathan's crew was armed, they couldn't possibly guard the entire mountain range.

Jonathan didn't think much of it. "They can come, but they gotta play by my rules on my turf. No firearms, no hurting the locals. And they gotta leave as soon as they're done. Or else, don't blame me for getting nasty."

"No problem, we agree to all that! Oh, and...." The man suddenly said, "There's something else. You were looking for a woman named Stella a few years back, right? She's dead. The guy who sold her out is the traitor we're chasing."
